This listing is for a 100g braid of hand dyed fibre. There are two options; 100% Polwarth or 70/30 Merino/Mulberry Silk. Both bases are not superwash treated.

Knitting with Friends was designed to celebrate the Virtual Knit-Tea Retreat in summer 2020. It is a mainly purple colourway with varying shades from dark plum to lilac, and then a flash of medium pink. It matches the colours on the Knit-Tea Retreat logo.

This fibre is hand dyed with professional grade acid dyes and then rinsed after the dyeing process. However, please hand wash to preserve the colour and please be aware that there may be a small amount of dye bleeding out in the first wash (although this is unusual because I am very thorough with my rinsing). Drying in direct sunlight can also fade the colour over time, so where possible, please avoid.

Each braid is approximately 100g.

Please bear in mind that I dye in small batches through kettle dyeing and hand painting. This leads to small variations even between the same dye lot so if you have a large project in mind, please contact me so that I can make sure you get skeins as closely matching as possible or potentially I can custom dye a specific quantity up for you. Also please bear in mind that whilst every effort is made to ensure the photograph accurately reflects the yarn colour monitors do vary.

If you choose standard shipping, your package will be sent by standard first class (UK) or standard airmail (overseas) and will only be insured up to a total of £20 (including postage). This is the amount that I will be able to refund you for your whole package if it gets lost in the mail. If your purchase comes to more than £20 I strongly recommend that you choose the option at the checkout to increase the postal insurance.
